Why God? Why Jesus? Why the Catholic Church?

I had the pleasure of working with the author to design a magazine he edited, which led to this book design project. I proposed this cover concept using a stock image which I colorized using a bright yellow, one of the colors in the papal flag. Adding the large “Why” for all three title questions seemed to tie them together in a nice 3-in-1 way that Catholics would appreciate, as well as being a handy space saving device. The inside layout was light and airy, a nod to the way the author is able to make sometimes complex theological concepts easily understandable and digestible.
